There are so many other things I could be doing. My room is cluttered, which is a major understatement, and I've got a pile of about 7 books I've been meaning to read. The laundry hamper is overflowing to the point where I'm convinced I'll have to go to school naked tomorrow (let's call it self-expression rather than public indecency due to lazy laundry habits).
Then there are college applications.
The procrastinator in me (which is a main part, let me tell you) says that they're due in January. Don't worry about it.
Then there's the productive side. The rarely seen productive part of my mind tells me that January, however far away it seems, is a mere 4 months away. "Then you've got those college visits. New York in a few weeks, then San Francisco in October." Damn you, productivity.
Procrastination overpowers productivity, in this case.
On with the laziness!
